But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.

MARCH
Coalitions In Action
Statewide Coalition Convention:

This event is being organized by the 9/12 Project Salem and Oregon 9/12 Project (Portland area).   The purpose of the Convention is to bring together members of all 9/12 groups across Oregon, as well as other like-minded grassroots organizations, to organize and coordinate our efforts, and to change the composition of our local, state and federal legislatures in 2010 and beyond.

In less than a year, millions of Americans across our land have recommitted to taking their citizenship responsibilities seriously.  Due to our combined voices and pressure at all levels, we have made a difference! The Obama Administration's agenda to "fundamentally transform our government" has been frustrated and slowed, giving time for more people to take action.  In Oregon, we are saying NO to the unnecessary taxes levied by our legislature.

NOW IS THE TIME TO "TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL" BY UNITING TO GIVE OUR EFFORTS EVEN MORE COHESION AND CLOUT!

This all-day event will include:

--A time to remember our beginnings as a grassroots organization.
--Introduction and comments by leaders of 9/12 groups in attendance.

--Presentations by motivational speaker Bob Basso.

--Keynote presentation by conservative activist and author Janine Turner.
--The unveiling of a strategy to take back our State Legislature.
--Tools and training presented by people experienced in mobilizing voters.
--Breakout sessions focusing on distinct types of action.
--Breakout sessions by counties/regions.

--Formation of a 9/12 State Coalition with representatives from all groups.

The breakout sessions will include:

"Boots on the Ground": Learn effective strategies and increase you comfort level with door-to-door and telephone contact.

"Weeding out the Losers": Candidate Research and Vetting Process.

"Ross Day's Rules for Radicals": Legal issues and pitfalls to avoid when running your organization.

"The Road to Activism": A panel discussion to present grassroots precinct strategies and the importance of voter integrity.

"Uniting,  Organizing and Winning":  How to capture the power and momentum of our grassroots organization and influence party politics.
