The Day "We The People" Made History

On September 12, 2009, hundreds of thousands of American Patriots came to Washington DC, to stand shoulder to shoulder, united in a common cause: Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.  These God-given rights are being jeopardized day by day, by people on both sides of the political spectrum.

They came by plane, train, bus, RV, car, and caravan.  Thousands poured into Freedom Plaza early in the morning. By 10:00 am, we had shut down Pennsylvania Avenue.  At 11:00 am we began the march to the Capitol, where we were able to finally take measure of just how many of us had come.  Democrats, Republicans, Independants; all races, all colors, all creeds and religions were represented.  All 50 State Flags were visible.  That day saw the single largest gathering of Americans finally united, as we were in 2001, exactly 8 years after the tragedy of 9/11.  We came to save our Constitution, our country and our children, from a future bleak with oppressive taxes, government control over every aspect of our lives and rampant unemployment.  We said NO to government run healthcare, NO to more spending, NO to Congress approving more entitlement programs we can't possibly pay for, and NO to a seemingly socialist agenda by the current administration that would seek to enslave us in tyranny.  The Constitution is in harms way, and it is our duty to protect our freedoms and our rights.  On that day,  We The People of the United States of America, attended the largest family reunion in history -- one of unbelievable brotherhood and uncontested solidarity.  It was truly a day that will live on in our hearts and minds forever.

While we gathered in Washington DC, similar rallies were taking place in 150 cities across this nation. Thousands showed up, singular in purpose, to stand together and in one voice say "We the People!"  Where were you on 9/12?
